Enemas are certainly not new. They were transcribed in the Manual of Discipline from the Dead Sea Scrolls, which were written 2,000 years ago. The Essene Gospel of Peace, a 300 A.D. Aramaic manuscript located in the Secret Archives of the Vatican, also clearly advises the use of enemas.
Dr. Jerry Walters told a story about the original enema treatments that contained brewed coffee. Due to low supplies of pain-killers and anesthetics during World War I, soldiers were only given enough anesthesia to make it through surgery and then the pain would set in. Doctors would order plain water enemas, but the nurses wanted something more to help soldiers with the pain. One nurse figured that since the doctors worked around the clock and drank coffee to keep going, that some left over coffee in the enema bucket might help the soldiers. The soldiers receiving coffee enemas reported that the enemas were helping them, and that their pain was considerably less.
The World War I reports of coffee enemas reducing pain in soldiers attracted the interest of Professor Dr. med. O.A. Meyer, MD, and Professor Dr. med Martin Heubner, MD, at the Geottingen’s College of Medicine, Germany in the 1920's. These medical professors observed that caffeinated enemas given rectally to rats stimulated bile ducts to open, and published their findings. Additional published research by Dr. Peter Lechner of Graz, Austria in the Aktuelle Ernåhrungsmedizin (Contemporary Nutritional Medicine), 2 Band on 15, April 1990 again shows that bile flow was increased by administration of coffee enemas. We now know, from the published research of Wattenberg, Sparnins, and Lam at the University of Minnesota, Department of Pathology, Minneapolis, that coffee in an enema stimulates glutathione-S-transferase, which is an enzyme system in the liver, that removes a large variety of electrophiles from the bloodstream.
Therefore, the coffee enema, through bile duct dilation and increased glutathions-S- transferase production, removes circulating toxins and partial metabolites, known as free radicals. The activity of the glutiathione enzyme system is increased over 600%. During a 15 minute coffee enema, while the solution is being held in the intestines, all the blood flows through the liver at least five times. This is because every three minutes, all the blood in your body passes through your liver. The caffeine absorbs through the intestinal wall to the hemorrhoidal veins and is directly carried into the portal veins and into the liver. The caffeine and enzymes theobromine and theophylline all have physiological effects, such as dilation of blood vessels and bile ducts, relaxation of smooth muscles, and the increase of bile flow. The increased activity of these enzymes ensures that free-radical activity is greatly diminished and that carcinogens are blocked. The coffee palmitates actually stimulate glutathione-S-transferase and cause an increase in bile flow.
Dr. Max Gerson observed that cancer patients did not die from the disease process itself. It was instead due to the liver's inability to detoxify and process the onslaught of dissolving tumors, as well as other metabolic toxins released in abundance, as a result of his nutritional therapy. Uncontrolled free-radical production plays a major role in the development of degenerative diseases including cancer, heart disease, and aging. The liver's ability to perform detoxification functions is critical to eliminating excess free-radicals. The addition of coffee enemas into the Gerson protocol resolved this dilemma and Dr. Gerson had a high success rate with his patients.
Dr. Max Gerson taught that better circulation and tissue integrity would prevent the spread and destroy malignant tumors. He taught it was self-evident that cancer couldn't exist with a normal metabolism. Dr. Gerson transplanted cancerous tumors into laboratory animals, but the malignancies were initially surrounded by inflammation, and then rapidly dissolved in the healthy animal. In order to make the transplanted cancerous tumors take hold and grow, he had to hinder the metabolism of the animal by damaging the thyroid and adrenal glands (Charlotte Gerson, 2001, p 161).
Coffee enemas are very safe and beneficial, and are recommended by Dr. Lawrence Wilson as a detoxification protocol during Nutritional Balancing Science programs.
The primary reason for a Hair Analysis Test is to assess imbalances in the metabolism. This process determines which antagonistic and synergistic minerals are necessary to manipulate the adrenal and thyroid glands, in order to mobilize toxic metals and compounds from the tissues to the blood stream for elimination. When the metabolism is out of whack, the body naturally accumulates toxic metals and is often unable to use the preferred minerals, even if they are present. Whereas a balanced metabolism causes the body to naturally reject toxic metals and accumulate the good minerals. Balance is everything, and when the toxic metals are circulating in the blood stream, coffee enemas assist the liver in removing the poisons from the body.
We challenge you to do a two week test and see for yourself how you feel after doing daily coffee enemas. Most people are amazed at how much better they feel! A coffee enema is the cheapest and most effective thing we can recommend.
